This stunning piece of history and stone was found On the lands of the Mirarr people at Djidbidjidbi/ Jawunmullungkanha (Mount Brockman)
This piece comes from a small mining lease which has the permissions of the traditional owners. Also found in this area is uranium and it is in an area close to significant sacred sites. The recent destruction of some of these sites by Rio Tinto is unforgivable and is not something we condone. Respect of the traditional owners and their voices and deep knowledge of the land should be paramount there is no excuse.
