the crocodiles dreaming story is one about a little girl named Min-na-wee. Min-na-wee herself, she was a bit different from all the other children in that she would often like to cause trouble amongst the other kids and, of course, this would disrupt the whole camp. She was also born with hard scaly like skin. The old people warned min-na-wees mother that if she kept behaving like that a fighting around something bad would happen to her.
Min-na-wee grew into a young woman (who still liked to cause fights), when the time for the young women to be selected as wives Min-na-wee stood there but no one ever chose her. This made her angry and her hatred grew. She would lash out and attack members of her clan. Then one day the old women decided that she needed to be punished, Min-na-wee didn’t know of the old ones plan and was ambushed by the men of the tribe who were going to kill her.
In order to try and escape she rolled around on the ground, and broke free and ran to the waters edge. she begged the evil spirits to turn her into a vicious creature of the water so that she could seek her revenge.
these crocodiles are from meat farms, they are bred for the purposes of providing food much like livestock, however I didn’t think it was right to have their heads go to waste and therefore have legally Acquired a couple for educational and spiritual purposes
the tribe didn’t know what had happened or Min-na-wee and went about their business as if nothing happened. One day they were hunting and gathering by the waters edge, Min-na-wee Had been watching them and hiding in the waters below waiting for her chance. she swiftly and quietly came up out of the water so fast and suddenly that no one saw her coming. She rolled with them in her jaws and they had no chance of an escape.
to this day she still hides in the Dark waters, patiently waiting to have her revenge on anyone who comes near her waters edge.
